The selections on this CD reflect a broad spectrum of musical genres. By way of background, my college years in Madison, Ann Arbor and Boston were full of musical adventures with jazz and classical instrumentalists alike. Since then I have performed, written and arranged an eclectic blend of music not typically played on the harp. You will hear my own compositions and transcriptions of personal favorites, as well as several solos from standard harp repertoire. Like the diverse range of friends, acquaintances, and colleagues I've met in my travels, my musical explorations have known few boundaries. I hope that as you listen to my playing, read the program notes about the music and look at the magnificent photographs on the CD jacket, you will come to know the beauty and depth of sound a harp is capable of producing, and feel just a little nearer to heaven.
